No Worries, stress, fear.
When I became pregnant with
my second child after the excitement phase I began to worry. How would I handle two small children at once?
When would I ever finish school? Could I be a working mom with two children?
Just a flood of fears came over me.
One of the main things humans
do is worry and fear. They say if you
want to really live in peace and in the moment we must let go of all worry and
fear. But we all know it’s just not that easy. Fear can be paralyzing though. Fear can keep
you on a merry go round. Maybe you want
to start a new career, but you’re scared that it’s too late to do something
new. Maybe your in a relationship that you know in your heart isn’t what you
want. But comfort keeps you there. Fear of moving on keeps you there. Perhaps you want to go back to school or even
take a semester off. Those strong voices and thoughts are usually what we must
follow and obey. When I began to write in this blog I was fearful of what
people may think or not think. We are
all scared of something, but what we do about it is what matters. It’s what
will determine our joy, happiness, and health.
As my pregnancy went on, I was on a quest to
let go of all my worries and fears and just enjoy my daughter and my pregnancy.
I of course had my positive days and my negative days. But as my due date came
closer I found myself being more at peace, and I began to realize it was the
fact that I had declared myself worry, stress, and fear free! Every day I made it a point to tell myself to
live for the day, and not to worry about tomorrow. As a believer in God I know my days are
planned out for me so what was the point of worrying and fearing when the
outcome is in God’s hands.
Don’t waste your days
worrying about later or tomorrow. Take a deep breath and stop stressing the
small stuff. Fearing the unknown will only make you worry and stress. Choose to
smile and be happy. It’s an everyday exercise we have to practice. Live each day to it’s maximum like it is your
last!
