God is LOVE
Hi readers and friends!
Sorry for the delayed blog post. Life got a little busy, but I’m back with a
lot to share. I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. Overall I hope
everyone took a moment of silence for our fallen troops who paid the ultimate sacrifice
for our freedom.
Love. A four letter
word that holds so much meaning behind it. I felt inspired to write about love
today, because I feel it deep in my soul today. I had such a blessed weekend
with family and friends I was over taken by love. Love can be beautiful, but it
can also be confusing for some. But Love is simple. Love is happy, love is
laughter, love is fulfillment, love is energetic, love is positive. Love can
fill a whole heart with all of these emotions plus more! But like many I have
shared my moments of confusion and despair. I have been in a place I thought
was “love,” but later came to find out it was anything but love. You see love
is not, tears, pain, loneliness, confusion, sadness, hurt, and negativity. But
as I look at my surroundings and the people I have come across I am saddened by
the way people choose “love.” Yes love is a choice. You can choose to love and
be loved the Godly way or you can choose the evil kind of love. I choose to
surround myself with people who bring happiness in my heart, who put smiles on
face. If there is a person in your life right now who is only bringing strife
and hurt into your soul you might want to reiterate that relationship. You see
people who really love you will only lift you up and praise you during good and
bad times! Ladies and Gentlemen LOVE is not abusive or painful! If you know in your heart that you deserve to
be loved the way God loves you then DON’T SETTLE for a mediocre relationship.
Of course no relationship is perfect. But if there are more bad moments than
good then that may not be love that keeps you there. Remember we hold the ultimate choice. We can
choose to find and feel real love, or we can choose to settle. If today you are
in a place of confusion or feel lost over love. Choose to take the big step and
walk away. Yes it is easier said than done, but isn’t crying, being angry, or
falling into depression worse? Doesn’t that hurt more in the end. Believe that
God wants more for you. Believe that you are meant to experience the wonders of
love. If all you were surrounded by growing up is “false love” choose to break
the chain today! Choose to be a VICTOR NOT A VICTIM! Thanks for reading. oneLOVE
John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with
words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
John 4:8 Whoever does not love
does not know God, because God is love
John 4:18 There is no fear in
love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.
The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
Really hit home Jessica, thanks for the MOTO.
