re designing me.

Hello friends and readers! We are into Mid April I can’t believe how quick this month is flying by. I hope everyone is starting of the work week on a good note. If not I hope my words will help lift up any down spirits. Today I want to talk to you guys about patience, positivity and how to practice these things even in the midst of a storm. My inspiration comes from a personal experience I recently had. I won’t go into much detail, but I had a little spat with a friend and instead of keeping calm I yelled and said things I shouldn’t have said. But I’m only human and not perfect so I fell into the trap of NEGATIVITY and felt very ashamed after. You know it takes more work being angry and finding reasons to be angry, and staying angry. Why would anyone want to purposely be upset and angry? No one is ever at fault when you have a fight or argument with a loved one.  They are just emotions that surface during the “midst of the storm”.  But if we can learn to approach these types of arguments in a calmer, positive manner we will make a bigger impact than yelling and swearing! These kinds of arguments can occur anywhere with anyone. The work place, your home, with your parents, siblings, boyfriend/girlfriend you get it. When someone is just looking to argue or get upset over no reason there is something bigger going on with them than we know. So next time you find yourself upset or in a heated argument try and find a place of peace and calm. When we change the energies around us the other person will pick up on it too and who knows you might even help calm them down. Instead of yelling at our spouse about not taking out the trash or forgetting to wash whites just do It yourself and move on from it. No need to STRESS THE SMALL STUFF and it’s ALL small stuff. We are in control of our moods and we are in control of how our day will pan out. A bad morning doesn’t necessarily mean a bad day.  It just means we are being tested early on and if we can surpass that hurdle we will be stronger and happier the rest of the day. In the midst of storms I turn to God, and listen to him and hand him over my problem which he takes care of for me. If you are not religious give yourself five minutes of silence and take ten deep breaths. Breath in positive feelings and breath out the negative ones you are fighting. I heard a verse in a song by an amazing rapper/artist.  “I had to find myself re design myself.” Thanks for these heart felt words THESHAWNCANNON! We each are on a journey of self-discovery and happiness. So in order for us to stay happy and positive in life sometimes we might have to make some re adjustments. We don’t realize sometimes that some of the people around us might not even be good for us. In order to stay in a good place mentally and spiritually it’s crucial that your “circle” of people are EAGLES and not CHICKENS. See chickens tend to just cluck around and go nowhere. But an eagle soars! Choose to be an eagle today! Choose to be a happy positive person and not a negative bitter one. A smile keeps us healthy, young, and is the best medication. Share a smile today someone may be in need of it. Thanks for reading. Remember we choose our own happiness and destiny. If your lost or feel alone I’m always open to new friends and new conversation J
